ARTC South Australia

Fast Track Welding is the preferred supplier of Aluminothermic Rail Welding services to  ARTC in South Australia for there ongoing Re-Rail Programme through the Adelaide Hills.  Fast Track Welding has successfully completed hundreds of High Quality Welds with zero defects. All works were conducted in short windows to maintain the passenger and freight lines with no disruptions to the network.

Coleman Rail Melbourne

Fast Track Welding completed over 150 Crane Welds on the 86kg Crane Rail for the new shipping container unloader at the newly built Melbourne Freight Terminal. This was a staged construction commencing in October 2014, the crews welded together 13M lengths of steel rail. A group of multiple Weld Crews worked day shifts on the new crane rails with no technical challenges. Delivery has been a 100% successful, with all Welds passing UT testing. There were no incidents on site during this project, as Fast Track Welding has a "No Compromise" approach towards safety, high quality standards and commitement to health and safety standards being the foundation of the business.

McConnell Dowell 
Port Hedland

Fast Track Welding completed Aluminothermic Welding for McConnell Dowell Project - BHP Rail Replacement on RGP 5 & 6 wharfs in Port Hedland. Work was performed over 9 months under shutdown conditions, which included day and night shifts. Welding of the 86Kg Crane Rail was successful and we have achieved a 100% success rate with all welds passing UT testing. Safety Standards are always of a high quality and we recorded a zero incident rate on the site.

Metro Trains Melbourne

Fast Track Welding continues to supply Metro Trains and has completed welding services for the replacement of IRJ's, assisting with the removal of RFD faults as required, and 'creep' related adjustment welding throughout metropolitan Melbourne and the MURL (Melbourne Underground Rail Loop).

Thiess RRL Project Melbourne

Fast Track Welding has completed the Regional Rail Link project for Thiess which included 7.5 kilometres of track from Footscray to Sunshine. This has included welding turnouts, straight track and dual gauge track as well as removing and replacing IRJ's assisting with the removal of RFD faults as required, and 'creep' related adjustment welding. During this project we have had an impeccable safety record with no LTI’s and have had a100% success rate with all welds passing UT testing.
